Rafa Benitez claims Liverpool fans have yet to see the best of Fernando Torres despite his sensational hat-trick in the 6-1 victory over Hull City on Saturday.
The Spain international all but secured the points against Phil Brown's men before Steven Gerrard and Ryan Babel (2) added their names to the scoresheet.

Torres now has eight goals from seven games this term, yet Benitez is adamant that he has yet to reach his full potential.

"He can do even better," said the boss. "In the last three games he's been really good. He's improving and his mentality, workrate and movements show his ability.

"Still I think he can do better. The main thing is the mentality of the player. I always say the same: he's keen to learn and that's the main thing. That means he will improve. How much depends on him.

"?20 million is a massive figure for us, so we knew he was good. But the main thing when we decided to bring him here apart from his quality was the potential, his age and the future he had. So, we are very pleased now but he can still improve."

The 6-1 thrashing of Hull contrasts sharply with a frustrating 2-2 in the corresponding fixture last term.

Yet Benitez insists he has not changed his system in a bid to quash damaging home draws.

He said: "We are not changing anything. Here, if you look at the team, it was more or less the same. It depends on the movement of the players. The system is more or less the same.

"Maybe we have more accuracy this year. If you look at the statistics we're having more shots on target this year and we are scoring more goals.

"We were playing with a lot of confidence here and creating a lot of chances. At the end we could change players, give players a rest and think about the next game.

"Six goals is fantastic but it could have been even better because we had some chances. That's another positive - the mentality of the team going forward, winning the game and still trying to score more."

Liverpool are now just three points behind league leaders Chelsea following their 3-1 defeat at the JJB.

Benitez thinks this is more evidence that the Barclays Premier League title race will be hard to call this season.

"We talked about this before," said the Spaniard. "The top sides will lose games. You'll see more teams losing and there will be more competition at the top of the table. That's positive for the fans and for the press - because you can write more things every single day. It will be a funny year."

Liverpool meet Carlo Ancelotti's men at Stamford Bridge next weekend on the back of six straight wins.

Benitez added: "It is important to win some games in a row, so confidence is high. But Chelsea are a strong team with quality, so it will be a very, very tough game." ( liverpoolfc.tv)

Gol Michael Owen memastikan kemenangan Manchester United dalam derby melawan City, 4-3 di Old Trafford.

Gol Owen terjadi di menit 95, hanya beberapa detik menjelang pertandingan usai, setelah ManUnited sebelumnya mencetak gol terlebih dahulu sebelum disamakan oleh ManCity.

Wayne Rooney mencetak gol pertama bagi ManUnited, dan dua gol lainnya dicetak oleh Darren Fletcher di babak kedua.

Sementara itu, gol ManCity dibuat oleh Gareth Barry dan dua gol dari Craig Bellamy.

Ini merupakan salah satu pertandingan derby di Manchester paling seru dalam beberapa tahun terakhir.

Dalam komentarnya seusai pertandingan, Michael Owen mengatakan gol kemenangan yang dicetaknya menunjukkan bahwa dia sudah membuktikan dedikasinya bagi ManUnited.

Owen pernah delapan tahun bermain untuk Liverpool, saingan utama ManUnited, namun Sir Alex Ferguson membelinya musim panas lalu.

Ketika ditanya apakah gol tersebut akan membuatnya menjadi pahlawan di mata pendukung ManUnited, Owen mengatakan "ya, bila memang sebelumnya ada keraguan akan hal tersebut."

Chelsea mermperpanjang rekor 100 persen tidak terkalahkan sejauh ini di Liga Utama Inggris dengan menang 3-0 atas Tottenham Hotspur.

Tiga gol Chelsea dicetak oleh Didier Drogba, Ashley Cole dan Michael Ballack.

Chelsea sekarang berada di peringkat pertama dengan 18 angka disusul Manchester United yang mengalahkan ManCity 4-3 dalam derby di Old Trafford.

Dalam pertandingan lainnya, Everton menang 3-0 atas Blackburn Rovers, dan Wolves menang 2-1 atas Fulham.

Bagi Tottenham, ini merupakan kekalahan kedua berturut-turut setelah sebelumnya dikalahkan Manchester United, 1-3.

"Kami tidak tahu persis apa yang terjadi. Masih terlalu pagi. Kami harus melihat selama beberapa hari lagi. Kami berharap itu hanya kram." kata pelatih asal Italia tersebut.

Fernando Torres paid tribute to the impact of Ryan Babel after the Dutchman came off the bench to supply him with the winning goal in Saturday's 3-2 victory at West Ham.

El Nino was the talk of the Capital after taking his tally to five league goals for the season with a double against the Hammers - but he was quick to shrug off his heroics by praising his teammate's contribution to the Reds' third successive league triumph.

"Everyone knows Ryan is a fantastic player," said Torres.

"He played on the right wing and he gave me a fantastic cross which was easy for me to attack the ball and score. It is easy for a striker when the cross is as good as that.

"He is a player with quality who can do things like this, so without Ryan I couldn't have scored. It's thanks to him I could score the goal to win it for us.

"We knew before the game that this was a difficult place to come and win. West Ham are a very good team at home but we now have momentum and we got the win.

"We played really well and we deserved it. We need to keep playing like this and keep working hard, because when every player plays well and works so hard then it's difficult for any team to beat Liverpool."

After a lively start to proceedings Torres broke the deadlock with a sensational solo goal at Upton Park.

He admits he was pleased with his first strike of the evening and now hopes that there will be many more to follow for the remainder of the season.

"My mind was to try to cross it as soon as possible because I was on my left foot," he said. "I was looking for a teammate but I didn't see anyone so I just kept going and managed to score, which was nice for me but more important for the team.

"West Ham kept coming back at us but we managed to get the third goal and we have to be happy.

"I hope there will be many more goals. I know when I'm working hard they will arrive so I have to keep working hard all the time for the team."

The victory over the Hammers moves Liverpool to within three points of leaders Chelsea ahead of their clash with Tottenham on Sunday.

Torres feels the Reds are beginning to rekindle the winning mentality that saw them finish second last season but believes they must tighten up at the back to ensure they sustain a challenge.

"We have to keep winning games which is the main thing but the next target is to keep more clean sheets," he said.

"That will be good for the team and good for Pepe. We have to improve in defence and keep more clean sheets."

Pasti udah pada penasaran sama film the twilight saga, apalagi yang udah udah nonton film twilight sebelumnya ( tahun 2008 ) di bioskop atau beli dvd atau rental buat di stel di rumah atau juga download film twilight 2008 yang gratisan. Hehe.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon merupakan adaptasi dari novel ke dua dalam The Twillight Saga dengan judul yang sama dan merupakan suksesor dari film Twilight yang dirilis pada tahun 2008 kemarin. Jika Anda sudah membaca novel New Moon, Anda tentu sudah mengetahui jalan cerita film ini, yaitu tentang Bella Swan yang frustasi akibat ditinggal kekasihnya –Edward Cullen Sang Vampir. Tentu saja perginya Edward disertai alasan kuat, yaitu demi kebaikan Bella yang akan sering terancam keselamatannya jika terlalu sering berdekatan dengan keluarga Edward.
Saat sedang tenggelam dalam kesedihan, Bella menjalin persahabatan dengan Jacob Black yang secara perlahan kembali membangkitkan semangat hidupnya. Namun persahabatannya dengan Jacob menyeret Bella ke dunia lain, dunia kaum werewolf yang merupakan “musuh abadi” kaum vampire.
Kedekatan dengan Jacob juga membawa Bella terjebak dalam perasaan lain yang menguji ketulusan cintanya kepada Edward.

Yang paling merasa malu dalam pertandingan kali ini siapa lagi coba kalau bukan si pelatih sombong bekas pemakai obat terlarang Diego Armando Maradona! Pasalnya ia telah berkata sebelumnya kepada petinggi dan mantan pemain top brazil seperti Pele. Tapi akhirnya malah tim nya sendiri yang keok.

Club Eighties 2009

Club 80’s ( clubeighties, egtis, ektis, eightis, egties, ekties, eighties )!!!!! Band yang paling saya idola no.1 di Indonesia… Bener neh, bukanya berlebihan. Style, kekonyolan, gokil, suka bercanda, smart, komplit dah… dan apapun yang dilakukan mereka berlima, selalu bisa menginspirasikan saya pribadi.

Dan kabar yang menggembirakan buat para penggemar club eighties dkk ini telah mengeluarkan Album terbaru mereka tahun 2009. Ga nyangka di balik kesibukan mereka masing masing yang hampir tiap hari menghiasi layar kaca TV Nasional Indonesia, ternyata diam-diam telah mengeluarkan album. Diam-diam atau cuman saya aja ya yang ga tau… hehe..

Nha… dari pertanyaan yang sering ditanyakan : Apa nama album baru club 80’s ?

Yup, nama album baru club eighties pokoknya baru, haha.. saya aja lom tahu saat posting nih artikel tanggal 2 September 2009. Entar saya usahain update lagi. Tapi yang jelas nih single lagu terbaru club 80’s judulnya Tak Mungkin.

Biografi clubeighties : ( suber : kapanlagi.com )

Berawal pada 1998 di acara tahunan kampus IKJ adalah cikal bakal Club Eighties terbentuk. Kala itu, Desta (Deddy Mahendra Desta) dan Henry 'Batman' Foundation sepakat membentuk band dengan aliran musik 80-an yang masih jarang saat itu. Mereka pun mengajak Vincent (Vincent Ryan Rompies), Lembu (Lembu Wiworo Djati) serta Yton (Sukma Perdana Manaf). Sedangkan Cliff (Cliffton Jesse Rompies) masih berstatus sebagai soundman, belum termasuk player.
Setahun berselang, kesempatan masuk ke dunia rekaman pun menghampiri grup ini. Sekitar pada 1999, Universal Music menawarkan untuk merilis album perdana. Sayangnya, salah satu pendiri, Batman, mengundurkan diri. Posisi ini pun lantas diberikan kepada Cliff. Mereka pun sepakat menggunakan nama Club Eighties.
Akhir tahun 2000, Club Eighties dengan personel Lembu pada vokal, Vincent pada bass, Cliff di bass, Yton pada keyboard dan Desta pada drum merilis single perdana, Gejolak Kawula Muda yang terdapat di album DISCOGRAPHY. Single yang kental dengan musik era 80-an, terbukti mampu diterima masyarakat. Sejak saat itu, nama Club Eighties semakin dikenal. Bahkan berkat single perdananya ini, mereka berhasil mendapat beberapa penghargaan pada 2001.
Ingin mengulang sukses album perdana, pada 2003 Club Eighties meluncurkan album kedua dengan titel 1982, dengan hit single Sebatas Khayal dan Gita Cinta. Pada 2005, kembali Lembu dkk merilis album ketiga dengan judul SUMMER 83. Hit single pada album ketiga ini adalah Si Om dan Dari Hati.
Selang dua tahun kemudian, pada 2007 album keempat kembali dirilis, SUMMER MOVED ON. Di album ini terdapat beberapa lagu yang telah dirilis di album sebelumnya namun dengan aransemen yang berbeda.

Dan sekitar september tahun 2009 album baru dengan title ***********, saya lom tahu.. kabarin ya kalau ada yang udah.
